Breakaway Travel Advisors Service Fee Agreement

This fee ensures that Breakaway Travel Advisors, an Independent affiliate of WorldVia Travel Advisors – a Travel Leaders Member Agency, operating in New Jersey, may be compensated for their time, whether or not you finalize your booking with us. This fee covers our time in consultation, research, pricing, and support before, during, and post-travel. By paying this non-refundable planning fee, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. The fee covers our work on the following:

  1. Unlimited edits to your itinerary up until deposit.
  2. Access to us via email and scheduled calls prior to travel during normal business hours; texting or messaging via app during travel.
  3. We aim to reply to emails within 48 business hours.
  4. Itinerary app and documents with an overview and any necessary vouchers or tickets.
  5. Restaurant recommendations catered to your likes and destination.
  6. Emergency contact numbers.
  7. Concierge services like restaurant reservations and spa appointments.

What the Service fee does not include

  1. Non-emergency after-hour communication: A $50 per half-hour fee will apply for after-hour communication.
  2. Travel document delivery: Travel documents may be picked up in person or delivered via FedEx at the client’s expense.

Breakaway Travel Advisors Terms & Conditions

  1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions: These Terms and Conditions are deemed a part of any agreements between Breakaway Travel Advisors, a New Jersey-based company, and you, the client. By paying the planning fee and/or deposit, you are representing that you have read and accept these Terms & Conditions on behalf of yourself and your traveling party.
  2. Our Services: Breakaway Travel Advisors act as a travel agent, selling various travel-related products on behalf of transport and accommodation service providers. We do not own, operate, or manage these independent suppliers and are not liable for their acts or omissions.
  3. Documentation: Travel documentation, such as passports, visas, and inoculation certificates, remains each traveler’s responsibility. It is your responsibility to ensure proper immunizations before travel.
  4. Pricing and Payment: Price quotes are applicable to the date and time of the request. Quotes in foreign currency are subject to fluctuations. Final payment is required no less than 60 days prior to departure. Some services must be paid in full at the time of booking.
  5. Check-in & Departure Responsibilities: It is recommended to check in at least 2 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before international flights. Travelers are responsible for reconfirming flight times.
  6. Travel Protection/Insurance: Travel protection and insurance are strongly recommended to protect your investment. Travel insurance is NOT included in the cost of services unless specifically agreed in writing.
  7. Cancellation: Most travel bookings are non-refundable, and cancellations may incur added charges by the travel service provider. Travelers are responsible for fees imposed by service providers.
  8. Disclaimers of Liability: Breakaway Travel Advisors are not liable for acts or omissions of service providers. Travelers must manage health concerns, carry necessary documentation, and understand the risks involved.
  9. Dispute Resolution and Forum Selection: In case of a dispute, mediation and binding arbitration may be pursued. Any proceedings shall be conducted in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
  10. Price Volatility: Prices are subject to increase before full payment. By booking, you acknowledge acceptance of these conditions.
  11. Costs: Customer shall indemnify Breakaway Travel Advisors for the cost and expenses incurred in the collection of any unpaid balance.
  12. Terms relating to the Use of Our Website: Users must be 18 years or older. Content on the website is for educational purposes only, and users are encouraged to seek professional advice. The website and its content are protected intellectual property.
  13. Terms and Conditions Subject to Change: It is the client’s responsibility to review the then-current Terms and Conditions before any future engagement or agreement.
  14. Force Majeure: Breakaway Travel Advisors are not responsible for failure or delay in performance due to uncontrollable events.
  15. Entire Agreement: This document, together with any specifications, constitutes the entire agreement. These Terms and Conditions supersede all prior discussions, proposals, and agreements.
  16. Intellectual Property: The website, correspondence, and promotional materials are protected intellectual property. Unauthorized use may result in immediate revocation of access and legal action.
